Bradesco announced that Octavio de Lazari Junior would be the new Executive Board Chairman. He will replace Luiz Carlos Trabuco, who in turn will stay as the Board of Directors Chairman. As President of Bradesco Seguros, he was able to expand the company two-fold by having a market share of 25% in the industry – making it a trustworthy name in the insurance sector. It was likewise during this time when the company was able to increase its performance rating from 25% to 35 % making it Latin America’s largest insurance company.
After 40 years of having held different positions with the bank, he was selected as President in succession of Marco Artur Laurelli Cypriano. When HSBC Brasil was acquired by Bradesco Bank in 2015, he was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Isto E Din Heiro Magazine.
Luiz Carlos Trabuco’s appointment as the Board of Directors Chairman came in 2017 when he took the place of Lazaro de Melo Brandao.
